q: what does "lost wall" mean?
a: a "lost wall" represents
a wall in any room which essentially has been forgotten
due to a lack of any type of decoration- it's just
there, but doesn't offer any creative aspect to your
space. we hope to fix that problem with our photography.
q: what does "acid-free" mean?
a: acid-free is used to describe paper which
has a pH factor of 7 or higher. acid-free paper can be produced
from any cellulose fiber if measures are taken during manufacture
to eliminate (or buffer) active acid from the pulp. in layman's
terms, items which are not acid-free can cause premature
aging of your prints. we use acid-free mats, backing board,
and tape to preserve the quality of our products.
q: what is foam board?
a: foam board is a sheet of foam
with paper laminated front and back. it is ideal to use as
the backing for framed prints because its acid-free surface
protects the back of the photo itself from discoloration and
aging. additionally, its sturdy structure resists denting and
damage to the print.
q: can you take a custom photo for
me?
a: depending on the photo, we do
offer custom options for an additional price. please e-mail
us and describe your request for further info.
q: i liked one of the pictures
i saw in color, but i would prefer if it were
in black & white.
could you convert the picture for me?
a: definitely- just leave a note
in the "additional requests" box upon checkout
and we can either convert from color to black and
white, or vice versa.
